The Impossible

前天去看了The Impossible，看了过后，很多感触。

The Impossible 是讲述2004年 Tsunami 事件的一个真实故事。
他们一家五口在经历过这场灾难而幸运的活了下来的故事。

故事很感动，但我没哭。反而，听到我隔壁坐着的男生有点哽咽。
我没哭，是因为除了感动，还有很多想法在我脑海。
觉得，这不仅仅是一部灾难片，而其中也教会我们什么是爱的力量，什么是永不放弃就会有奇迹。

下面的link 是讲述女主角一家在Khao Lak, Thailand 度假屋遭遇到tsunami的经过。有兴趣可以读读看。

看了这部戏，这得觉得永不放弃，就会有奇迹。
我们遇到困难时，不要一下就放弃。
读过一本书，作者说，障碍的出现，是要考验你到底有多想要一样东西。
这，也是我其中一个一直提醒自己的quote。
真的，受了那么严重的伤，其实如果没有意志力，我想女主角可能很早就会死掉了。
如果男主角一早就放弃寻找女主角和他的大孩子，那么，我想他们可能永远都不会相遇。而且可能女主角在医院时没有遇到男主角，没有得到他的鼓励，可能她也会因为放弃而死掉。

所以，意志力和永不放弃对我们以后的生活好坏，真的是扮演很重要的角色！

再来，就是爱的力量。
很难想象在满身伤痛下，女主角还能游向她那10岁的小孩。
很难想象一个10岁的小孩，可以在这么艰苦的环境下照顾自己的母亲。
很难想象8岁和5岁的小孩能不吵闹的让唯一能依靠的爸爸抛下他们，去寻找他们的妈妈和哥哥。
就是因为爱，所以他们生存了下来。
就是因为爱，所以他们才有机会相遇。

所以，千万不要低估爱的力量。它能让你做到很多你觉得不可能的事。

题外篇：
我们一生人，真的不知道几时会遭遇到不好的事。尤其是天灾。现在地球已经在生病了，天灾也就越来越多。可能有天，马来西亚突然来个地震，然后很多人遭殃。（touch wood）
21.12.2012过了，很多人就以为以后都不会有世界末日。所以，不爱惜地球的pattern又展现出来了。真的希望我们能知道其实如果还不爱惜地球，随时都有可能世界末日的。

Din Tai Fung

小笼包，小笼包~

我很喜欢吃小笼包，以前常到龙的传人，就是为了吃小笼包。
一直想试下台湾闻名鼎泰丰的小笼包，终于上两个星期让我如愿以偿地试到了。

鼎泰丰原产于台湾。它是一个屡获殊荣的餐厅，尤其是它的小笼包。

其台湾本土以外，鼎泰丰也设有分行，在澳大利亚，中国，香港，印度尼西亚，日本，马来西亚，新加坡，韩国，美国和泰国。

和Mr Chong 到了 Garden 地楼的鼎泰丰。由于很多人，我们稍微排了一下队。

服务员态度“麻麻地”。没有什么笑容。

点好餐后，等待~

Mr Chong 点了炒饭。（RM13.60)

我们认为，一间餐馆的厨师厨艺好不好，通常就要看他们的炒饭好不好吃。

结果，让我们失望了。炒饭不好吃~ :( 非常普通！

我点了西川拉面。(RM13.00)

Hmmm...这个就比较有水准。

可是，汤头需要加些醋才好喝。要不然，不够酸。

鼎泰丰的主角 - 小笼包 (RM10.30)

小笼包特写

我通常吃小笼包都会只放醋。（因为不吃姜）。放了醋后，我会咬一小口，然后让汤汁流出来，喝了它的汤汁后，再把整棵小笼包放进嘴。让肉和剩余的肉汁在我的嘴里，然后再细细的咀嚼~ 啊！真是一大享受。

吃后感：
鼎泰丰的小笼包皮比较厚。有好有坏。
好的是，冷后皮没那么容易破，汤汁还会保留在包子里面。不像龙的传人，它的皮比较薄，一上桌就要快快把包子吃了，要不然，就喝不到包子里的汤汁。
不好的是，皮太厚，馅又不会太多时，吃后没有所谓的“幸福感”。
而且，本人觉得鼎泰丰的ala carte 选择没那么吸引我，所以我比较偏向龙的传人。嘻嘻！

我一直都很想要个Fake print bag.
找来找去，有些fb online shop 有卖，可是，send 了message给了他们，却一直有没有回应。
在我要放弃的时候，无意中读了一位blogger的post， 在介绍Banana Taipei 的Fake print bag。

当然，因为是纯手工，quality真的是无话说！！！

你会看到BananE Taipei, 可是我们又讲BananA Taipei, 也许你会混乱，哈哈！我也是其中一个。

用后感：
说真的，包包真的很美。
可是，不好的是没有拉链。
哈哈！在我们这个可爱的国家，如果包包没有拉链，怎样感觉都会差一点的。
怕随时随地会给人偷拿包包里的东西。
所以，如果要买，就必须选择性的拿这个包包。
如果要去人山人海的地方，最好就不要带咯！

如果真的喜欢Banana Taipei包包，其实可以选择Baby Banane,它就有拉链，而且还有背带。
可是就比较小咯！

分享，保养品

还记得大学year 1的我，根本都不需要搽保养品。
虽然每次去洗脸的时候，都会被美容师讲，可是我还是我行我素。
反正青春就是本钱，管它的！

渐渐的，随着年纪越来越大，
我对保养品就越来越讲究。
由于我脸无时都在缺水的状态，所以我用的产品，都是注重在保湿。
可是，我的脸又是敏感性，又外干内油，所以选择保养品来就特别麻烦。
(尤其以前又没有很多美容资讯，常常就看广告，然后就去买，真的花了不少的冤枉钱）

通常，我每用完一set保养品，皮肤就会immune，我就要被逼找过新的skincare product来代替旧的。
有些还因为不适合，可又已经买了，怕浪费，所以还是硬把它用完。
不是太干脱皮，就是太油出痘痘。真的是ZzzzZzzzzzzzz.....

除了保养品，Cleanser其实也很重要。因为我脸干，所以通常我会选择Gel type的洗脸霜。
在 pharmacy看到Eucerin, 因为贪便宜（Promo pack）所以就买了。效果还不错，而且还可以remove light make up。用了脸完全不会干干紧紧的。

Hada Labo 极润化妆水；Hada Labo极润乳液，Kose moisture Skin Repair, Bodyshop T3 oil, Loreal Revitalift eye cream.
So far, 我真的很满意它们的效果。

会买Hada Labo 是因为柳燕老师一直在介绍，加上去年有年终sales，所以就买来试。
效果不错。它的化妆水很棒，价钱又合理。而它的乳液呢，就有点粘稠。应该是Hyaluronic acid的缘故，所以粘粘的。因为这样，我通常是晚上才用。早上由于要化妆，粘稠的保湿品会让我的脸比较容易出油。
白天，在搽好Hada Labo lotion后，我就会用 Kose moisture skin repair。这个 product真的很棒！
我等下会特别介绍它。
Body shop 的T3 oil，对付痘痘outbreak很好用。只要你看到痘痘冒出来，用棉花棒占点T3 oil，然后点在痘痘上，很快痘痘就会消失。
最后是Loreal Revitalift eye cream。这已经是我第二瓶了。之前第一瓶时，效果不错，所以就接着用。（因为我是双眼皮，然后又爱笑，很怕眼睛会越老越垂，所以就先用了anti-aging product，呵呵！）
可是现在好像没有什么作用了。这瓶用完后，我会买只是保湿的eye cream。因为有报导说，其实eye cream单买保湿的就好。什么淡化黑眼圈，消灭皱纹，好像都是骗人的，没什么用。

Kose Moiture Skin Repair (50ml, RM170). 

特别介绍：
它是强调保湿的。特别的是，通常保湿，质感就会比较粘，这一个完全不会。
它质感水水的，搽在脸上，3-4秒就会被皮肤吸收，而且你会感觉到皮肤真的变水嫩，重点是，完全不油腻！！搽了好像没有搽过一样。
所以，肌肤内油外干的人，真的很适合用。像我呢，化完妆后，通常皮肤会比较容易出油，用了这个，就可以解决这个问题。因为不会出油，妆也没那么快花掉。

Kose Sekkisei Lotion

特别介绍2：
在用Hada Labo之前，我是在用着这瓶。我想大家都知道它是谁吧！
雪肌精的lotion,对于美白真的是强！用一瓶盖的分量，还可以当面膜。
即使我每天晒太阳，还是去Bali有点变黑，一下子，就变白了！
真的！！！我真的感觉到效果。
那么好，为什么我不用呢？原因是，我不喜欢有酒精的Lotion。还有的是，因为是润白，所以滋润的效果不会比单单保湿的好（对于我个人的case），所以，我就没用它咯！
可是，如果你是想要美白，这产品，你一定要试！！
我的防晒也是用它家的！防晒功能也一流！

最后，面膜！！！！
读了一些美容杂志后，发现，面膜至少一个星期要做一次。最好一个星期两次。
这样脸才能锁住水分，这样脸才会QQ的。
我保持一个星期两天面膜后，脸真的变比较有光泽。
有时去上班只搽Kose Sunblock就可以，不会觉得气色灰灰没精神的。

所以说，世上没有丑女人，只有懒女人！！

p/s: 我用的保养品，都不是很贵的。通常我会做些功课，例如看女人我最大，Fashion magazine，然后从我皮肤状况来判断什么是对我有用的，再选那些便宜又大块的，哈哈！
而且那样，就不会一直花冤枉钱，买些评价很好，可是不适合自己的保养品来用。

Finally I have time to blog about my 25 years old birthday celebration and, of course, The proposal.

Went to WIP @ Bangsar Shopping Complex for my birthday celebration.

Great services, nice cocktail, and good food. 

 Birthday girl acting cute. Still didn't know there are surprises waiting for her.

Were chit-chatting with Mr Chong, suddenly i saw Sze Wen. First thing appealed in my mind was, Eh, why so ngam de?
Mana tau, when i look carefully, OMG! Whole gang of friends were there!!!!!
My Uni coursemate and my Yinzi gang friends were there, holding birthday cakes for me!
Ahh... I just cant believe it.
Fyi, this actually was my 24th birthday wish.
When i traveled with Mr Chong @ HK during my 24th birthday, I told him, how good if i can celebrate my birthday with my beloved friends. And, he made this came true!!!!
I almost cried when i saw my gang of friends!!
I was quite sad thou because none of them wished me happy birthday through whatapps. I thought they have forgotten me already.
So, it was a superb big surprise for me!

Then, then, suddenly Mr Chong told me, he need to pang sai. He complained his stomachache while we were preparing ourselves for the dinner. So, i have no second thought about there will be a second surprise for me.
Of course, i was busy chit-chatting with friends, so, i got a bit forgot that he went toilet for a very long period. .
Then, 1 of the waiter came to me, and handled this puzzle to me. He asked me to complete the puzzle within 5 mins. If i success, there will be a special gift for the birthday girl. Wao! Free gift neh, so all my friends gathered up to help me to make this task complete asap. Then, we noticed the center piece was missing. I went to find The waiter straight away because i wanted the free gift very bad, haha..! This made him got a shock. I don't know he was helping Mr Chong for the preparation. Luckily i didn't see Mr Chong stood outside the restaurant waiting for his turn, if not mah no more surprise loh! Then, The waiter brought me to my side and calmed me down, and cued Mr Chong to enter the restaurant. While waiting Mr Chong, The waiter passed me an envelope, which had the missing part in it.
I opened the envelope and i saw the "Marry Me" words, i was like: "OMG! Shit! That fellow is going to propose! How should I respond? Cham liao cham liao.." and i put back the puzzle. HAHA! My friends saw my facial expression, and they told me that was very funny.
Then, Mr Chong walked towards me, with the song "A thousand year" playing as background. Of course i didn't notice whatever song was it. My mind was totally BLANKED!

With 99 roses and a ring, Mr Chong knelt down and asked me "Will you marry me?".
Haha... actually i didn't listen that too...
I just saw a simple dark blue box with a ring. That's! Whatever, I can't wait to say yes.
Thus, i nodded. I think it happened within 1 minute. Hahaha... I was like very "han ka" loooo...
Anyway, that time, I was still in the blank mode, I didn't ask him to confess, and i didn't check the size of the ring too!!! (LOL)

After i wore it, i asked Mr Chong, why didn't buy me Tiffany & Co.. (Because i kept telling him i want Tiffany & Co., if not i won't marry him)
And, another surprise! He said, Oi! This is Tiffany & Co. ah!!!!!
Another OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really never thought that he will actually buy me Tiffany's ring. Hello, that is damn expensive leh!!!!! That time I has a feeling like "flying in the sky".. Song died me!! XD

Then, his friends showed up. The master-mind The waiter showed up. Even Mr Chong's colleague showed up. (When they knew Mr Chong was going to purpose, she brought her husband and kids purposely dined in WIP and wait for the proposal.)
Mr Chong even hired a professional photographer just to take pictures of us!

My 2013 Resolutions

My 2013 Resolutions..

1. Slim down.
Wtf my weight is approaching 50kg edi. With a 158cm height, 50kg is kinda too heavy for me.
Aiming to achieve my ideal weight at 46kg. So, 4 kg to slim down in 2013. 
Haha, i think alot of u will think, aiyoo.. 4kg nia ma.. Sap sap soi la... But, fyi, my Mr Chong is a huge eater. Aih.. When he orders some good food, i also kenot tahan to eat some. This is why, i am getting fatter and fatter.
So, in this 2013, i must tahan my nafsu, do more exercises, and hopefully i can have a good figure for my pre-wedding photos!

2. Blog more.
I think i should make my blog more active. Hmm.. By looking lots bloggers get lots free stuffs, lot events to participate, lots updated fashion and latest in town news, im thinking, i should actually make myself into the cycle. I will definately work hard on it. So, i really need supports from those who read my blog. Please visit my blog more often, so my poll will be higher.

3. Save more $$ and bring my parents to travel
It has been so long, my parents didnt travel with me already. So, im thinking is time for me to bring them get out from Malaysia. Nearest also spore la! Because my mum never been there. Lol, unbelievable leh.. Been to Usa, Europe, Japan, Korea, Thailand, China, Hongkong, etc etc.. But never been to Spore. And i think deep in her heart, she wanted to go spore very bad. Thus, i will work hard, save harder to make this happen.

4. Equestrian or MBA course
I love horse. I think most of my close friends know about it. I m thinking to go for horse riding courses this year. However, my parents sometimes will nag me about my master study. They always hope me to be not just a degree holder. So, i am still thinking, MBA or equestrian. I cant take both, because my big hobby is actually "peh" at bed.

5. Charity
I have joined world vision since last year. Unfortunately, i always dont have the chance to join their activities. So, hopefully this year, the timing will be ngam ngam ho, so that i can participate and share some power of mine to make the world a little bit better.

Hmmm...I think 5 will be good enough for my 2013 resolutions. So i can focus on these five and make them achieved.

Antipodean Cafe @ Bangsar

又是 Food review!!

今天要介绍的是一家出名早餐的Cafe。

Name of the restaurant : Antipodean Cafe
Location                      : 20, Jalan Telawi 2, Bangsar Baru, 59100, KL.

Founders : Alun Evans & Arlini Evans

这家 cafe 的 concept 是来自于Australia & New Zealand。
澳式早餐其实是靠近美式，可有别于欧式早餐。
美式早餐往往会以谷类为主的菜，或以鸡蛋为主，当然还包括Pancake & Hash brown。
欧式早餐通常包括片的奶酪和冷肉，谷物，水果和饮料，如咖啡，茶或果汁。
澳式早餐通常鸡蛋为主，但也包括香肠，培根，早餐牛排，蘑菇，西红柿，和 Hashbrown。

Antipodean Cafe有个特点，就是，它的Menu 是印在墙壁上的。
有点麻烦，因为通常weekend都是爆满的，在狭窄的空间里，还要努力的读Menu，
可是通常这个麻烦是在你第一次到Antipodean时会遇到而已。
常去，就会对Menu比较熟了。

Big Breakfast 和 All Day Breakfast 的差别就是一个有炒蘑菇和Hashbrown，一个有Baked bean和tomatoes。
是看你喜欢什么啦！
本人我的就超级钟爱它的炒蘑菇。很香。真的是白吃不厌。
Toast也很有味道。很脆，把它掺scrambled egg 吃真的很棒！
Bacon呢，就还真的比不上我在美国吃的。可能美国的太强了吧。
Baked bean, 麻麻地~ 如果让它再烧焦一点就好。
Hash brown 也是蛮有水准的。

饮料方面，
它的hot mocha，我就不太喜欢。有点太甜。其实，很多博客都说他家咖啡很好喝。
Hmmmm.. 只可以说，taste is very subjective!
Ice Lemon Tea 也还好。
所以我之后去都只要求白开水。省钱又健康！

价钱方面，如果点饮料就会贵些。

所以如果不是咖啡爱好者，

其实可以只点餐，饮料就喝免费又健康的开水。

那其实两个人吃，还不到RM40。

p/s：由于这个Jalan Telawi 区真的很难找停车位（尤其是weekend)，所以如果真的找不到，其实可以park在bangsar village,然后步行到Antipodean。不会太远，就当作exercise咯！

Reviews for my 2012

很快的，2012就这样过了。

2012，对我来说，还不错。
喜多过悲。

我换了工，目前还属于良好工作表现的状态。
哈哈！
现在的工作，没有什么活动，所以就没有照片可以分享。

Hmm。。希望我在2013年，表现还是像2012年那样吧！

~家庭~

很开心在9月多时，我们一家人到Genting 庆祝了Ah Ma 和妈妈的生日。

终于，Ah Ma 的脚好多了。可以从 hometown 坐车到 kl 来。

然后，在马来新年，Papa, Mama, 我，弟弟和表弟又去了趟Hatyai。

吃喝玩乐加Shopping，而且全有爸爸买单，哈哈！真爽！

很久没有一家人出门旅行了，
真的很希望在2013年，我有能力买张飞机票跟家人一起出国玩。
我妈活到这么老了，欧洲，澳洲，美国，中国，日本，韩国，很多地方都去过了，
就是没去过新加坡！所以，我希望2013年尾，可以“送”我妈到新加坡。
当然，酒店还是要靠我爸。我没那么多钱。

2012年，我送了我的好姐妹一张Bali 来回机票当作生日礼物。

回味我们在美国一起旅行的日记。

虽然不常见面，但，当聚在一起时，还是没变。

嘻嘻哈哈的，好开心。

我也和Yinzi gang去了马六甲，和Boey参加Sushi King Treasure Hunt，当Gurun 朋友的jimui，

还有，大学朋友和Yinzi Gang 给我的生日惊喜。

~爱情~

我和Mr Chong的爱情，说长不长，说短不短。

2012年，我们一起去了王力宏和Ah Mei的演唱会，

我们也去了台湾，马六甲。

我也因为每天找吃的，现在体重已经踏入50kg。

但，我很幸福！！

而且，在2012年，11月29日，也就是本人的生日，

Mr Chong向我求婚了。

哈哈！我当然说Yes 啦！

由于ring 还在香港换size中，照片也还没edit，

所以我迟些才blog求婚过程。

希望，2013年，我们不会有那么不愉快的事。
当然，即使不愉快，我也会和你一起熬过去的！
开心一起笑，伤心就一起哭吧！
