Part 1 : 感谢家人

 今天是结婚后第3个月的第一天。
 有时还觉得结婚好遥远，怎么一下我就当了别人的老婆。
小的时候，常想要快快结婚当人的老婆，
可是现在，终于当了人家的老婆，又觉得感觉很奥妙。
好像很遥不可及的，却又走过了。

结婚后，一切都和以前差不多。
只是回 hometown 时有些不一样。
因为要到另一个家，过我的下半辈子了。
虽然我们家离很近， 但要离开一个待了28年的家，还是会有点不舍。

Parents in Law ， Sisters, brother in law 都待我如家人。

回想婚礼，当然很累。
可是有很多人比我更累, 我也不可以有什么怨言。
毕竟结婚当日，我都花时间在妆发上. >.<

我老公，我家公，我家婆，我爸爸，我妈妈，我婆婆，
都比我累。忙碌了很多天，都没睡好。

其实要特别感谢我家公。
帮我们弄了一个很完美的婚礼。
起初觉得会很俗气的礼堂，让他弄得超级高级。
我们的新房，也是出于他自己的设计。
老公告诉我，他在最后一刻还在检查新房是不是够完美来迎接我。
是他，让我们的婚礼充满美好的回忆。

再来就是我的老公。
其实，可以说，90%以上的准备，都是他筹备的。
包括拍 Pre wedding 的 协谈。
我只是负责搞定请柬，和给些食物的意见，还有找make up artist。
很多人听了这是我老公一手安排和筹备的婚礼，都很羡慕。
安排的东西也都会尊重我的意见。
简直就是一个超级称职的wedding planner. (我专属的）
我觉得真的很庆幸，有一个这么好的老公。
也是他，让我的婚礼充满了幸福的回忆。

当然还有我的妈妈，我家婆，我爸爸还有我的ahma，都很忙的帮我准备宴客糕点，准备习俗的用品，准备招待人客。
说到结婚，当然不能少了家里的布置。当然就要喜气洋洋的。
我家里的布置呢，就由我妈妈当主导，我，我弟弟，我弟弟的女友配合。
他家里的布置呢， 都是他妹妹在一手打理，他和他弟弟配合。
真的很庆幸有他（她）们无条件的付出。

对了，还有我的手花和花车，都是他表姐别出心裁的设计。
他另一个表姐也借了她的休旅车来当我们的新娘车。
为了这个，还特意去换了三千多元的RIM。
还有我的表姐，特地从中国回来，就是要陪我出嫁。
还有我的姑姑，阿姨，舅舅，舅母，姨丈，表姐弟妹，谢谢他门抽空出席，还帮忙打点一切。

终的来说，我的婚礼，真的因为有了他（她）们，才能这么顺利美满的完成。
无限的感恩。

Pre Wedding

Pre Wedding Photo Shoot - Photos and Sharing

 Yeah! Finally have time and can share our lovely pre wedding photos @ my blog.
Wanted to share early however Mr Chong requested not to do so until we had our wedding dinner.
Reason behind, He wished to keep as first run at our wedding reception. He was worried about people getting sien when we show these pre wedding photos and didn't not pay attention to it.

Well, we did our photo shoot in Shanghai.
Why Shanghai? This was the first question people asked when they knew I was going there for my pre wedding shoot. Yes, I didn't look like a person would choose Shanghai as the destination. My friends always think that I will go places like Paris, Taiwan or Korea, but just not China.

Actually, this was decided by Mr Chong (80%) and I (20%).
Firstly, we were looking for a place with cooler climate than Malaysia. Right also, how can you tahan to wear the thick wedding dress and suit under the hot sun. He can't, so do I. So, must be a country with 4 seasons!
Second, we have seen the great works done by Princess Studio at his cousin's wedding. The shooting style is what Mr Chong likes and we can try to opt for cheaper rate since his cousin's wife has contact to get some discount.
So, there we went and we got upgraded for FREE!

We used 2 days to do the shooting due to bad weather. However, we felt lucky because of this as we can take more photos and not always in the rush. Quite relaxing and not have a time of the "tired to smile" kind of feel. (This was the really first comment I got from my friends. 笑到僵! )
So, those who plan to go for pre wedding shoot, better to negotiate to extend shooting day from 1 day to 2! This actually helps in term of the photo quality because you won't be tired of smiling; and automatically your face will be pretty and handsome without the awkward smile.

For our package, we got to choose for total 6 sets of wedding gowns and dresses. However, we only got 1 premium wedding dress and at the end, we chose to add on some $$ to get another premium dress. Premium gowns were from Pronovias, Paris. Hence you can really feel the great quality and cutting.

For the scene, we got 3 outdoor, 2 studio and 1 night scene.
All were beautifully taken, especially the one at 外滩 (The Bund). So I will share more on photos taken at The Bund.

上海之旅

今年4月头，我们到了上海。

目的是，为了拍我们的结婚照。

很多人都很好奇，为什么是上海。

哈哈，其实是因为看了庄先生表弟的结婚照，觉得很美，跟马来西亚看到的拍摄风格很不同，所以，就决定了在上海拍我们一生一次的婚纱照。

要申请中国的 VISA 其实很简单。到网站download表格，填好，打电话到大使馆预约，去交表格，交好后等通知，4-5天后，再去拿护照。搞定！

飞机呢，我们就是搭亚行。毕竟便宜。（来回大约RM750++)

可是到中国的飞机真的是很多中国人，hmm，他们讲话真的是很大声。

我搭的是11pm的机，可是他们都不用睡觉的，大大声谈天，根本不理别人。

搞得我没觉好睡。 :(

所以，如果你有而外budget，我真的力推荐要upgrade去quiet zone （大概RM68++)。

我们return时，upgrade 到quiet zone，真的很安静，一觉到“landed"。

这次7天6夜的上海之旅，我们没住酒店，反而，选择了住studio。

碧云花园服务公寓就是我们在上海的住宿。

 第二天，我们约了庄先生表弟的老婆，一起出去。
去了：

海底捞。 食物真的太好吃了。

我们还尝试了以往不敢吃的东西： 鹅肠，猪脑（想起来还是觉得有点恶）

在海底捞，还弄了指甲，好让拍照时，指甲是好看的。

然后我们就到田子坊逛逛。

田子坊真的是充满艺术的地方。

很喜欢这里，可惜太晚到了，很多店已经打烊，没得好买什么。

逛完田子坊，就开着车去兜风，看看上海晚上的夜景。

很不好的时，我们去上海的时间，刚好遇到了清明节期间，

真的是清明节时雨纷纷，前几天，都在下雨，真的是扫兴。

兜完了外滩，我们就回酒店咯！

My Top 3 Favourite Blog Shop

Since I've moved into branding job, I rarely have time to do retail shopping. Most of my weekends were spent with Fatty to enrich our relationship, where we hang up at nice restaurant, a good movie date or just peh at home.

Well, how do I maintain my wardrobe to be at least "fashionable"?
I shop ONLINE.

Seriously I started online shopping since I was 19, perhaps?
Hence, I have tried out quite a numbers of online shop and definitely some are pretty good, however, some are really not "that good".

Since I really shop a lot in online blogshop, and my recent 6 months purchases were all from online (at least 90% of them, and 10% were from H&M, LOL) ; so why not just share out my Top 3 Favourite Blog Shop and hopefully my post will help you to minimize the "unwanted" clothes you've got from a online boutique shop. :)

So, here is the Number 1 :

MPGLabel

MGPLabel is Singapore based company. However, they provide free shipping to Malaysia if you buy 2 pieces and above. So dont worry about the shipping fee.
I like about MGPLabel first of course no much of my friends around me are buying from it and the quality and size is really good and perfect for me.

However, I've stop buying recently due to the expensive exchange rate (of course) and also I noticed that they have increase their price which made the clothes even more expensive.

Nonetheless, if you have the budget, it's worth to buy from MGPLabel, because you get what you pay :)

Number 2 :

Double-Woot

One of the Malaysia's leading online fashion stores, also my most favourite Malaysia's online shopping shop.
Usually I will shop my work wear here. DoubleWoot provide very executive type work wear and they are also very affordable compare to it popularity and the clothes quality.
Ohya, My marriage engagement dress also bought from DoubleWoot.
Loved it much!

Number 3 :
Zalora

Yes, no mistake. Zalora is my 3rd favourite online shopping website.
I even bought few shoes from Zalora and yes, they fit me perfectly :)
Usually I will look for the offer deal and their promotion really a great deal.

Nice part is for shoes, they even provide you with the return slip just in case you cant wear them.
Ohya, you can also op for on the spot payment if you worry about the courier.


Yup, these 3 basically my favourite. No need to worry about unable to fit into the clothes if you check clearly their measurement. And if really cant fit, they allow your return with return of credit for your next purchase.

回望 2014

2014年，对我来说，是好坏掺杂的一年。
我过的非常丰富。

就让我来记录这一年值得记住，学习与珍惜的事吧。

#家人

距离嫁人的日子越来越近，心情就越来越复杂。
很不舍得离开家里。
新年还因为想太多而哭的很惨。
一想到以后新年就不能全程和自己的家人度过，真的很伤心。
可是，这就是人生必经过程啊！

看到Ah Ma越老越“坏蛋”， 看到爸爸的白头发越来越多，脊椎有点问题，要长期做物理治疗，看到妈妈50多岁了还在为家里操心，忙出忙进。真的很想快点回去照顾他们。
毕竟能陪他们的时间，真的不多了。
2013 2014 许下要带一家人出国的愿望，还没实现，真的是惭愧。
2015年，我真的很希望能以我的能力带他们一起去玩。

#爱情
说到爱情，真的要感谢老天让我遇见这么好的他。
他是我的爱人，
他是我的伴侣，
他是我的知己，
他是我的朋友。
他也是我精神的支柱。

每当我遇到困难，都是他在旁开解我，支持我，帮助我。

Mr Chong，真的要谢谢你对我这么好。

对了，我在27岁生日结束了Miss Wong的身份。
现在我的身份是Mrs Chong咯！
很高兴能在双方家长见证下，注册成为一对合法夫妻。
也谢谢所有人的祝福。真的很感恩。

#事业

十月头，终于丢了大信封。辞掉了做了2年2个月的工。
2014年的事业，真的有很大的转变。
真的是高低起伏。
经历了非常忙，非常压力与无助的时刻，
也度过了人生一个很斜的learning curve。

环境从Pharmaceutical转去了FMCG。
职业从Brand Exe 升上了 Assoc. Brand Manager。
我知道改变未必是好，也未必是不好。
什么事情都一定会遇到考验。
只要心态正确，一切难关都可以度过。
度过难关后，有时另一个成长，另一个阶段。

对了，还是很谢谢提拔我的人。让我有机会从sales转换到branding的位置。
也很谢谢和我一起挨过的同事的扶持。真的很庆幸有一班这么好的同事。
不容易啊！
所以我要再度感恩。XD

#朋友

朋友方面，不懂zomok，每次聚会都不会拍照，害我想了半天到底这一年我朋友缘还好吗。
#LMAO

应该还不错吧！有些朋友虽然不常联络，但我们知道我们彼此心里都有着彼此。
好怀念一起嘻嘻哈哈的日子。
可惜很多的我们都分隔了。都在忙着为各自将来更好的生活打拼。
真的希望我们可以常聚。
而且如果相聚，我一定会要求拍照。
很多时候，因为初老症状发作，都记不起来很多事了。

#旅行

2014年比起2013旅行的地方就只有Langkawi和Bangkok。
新年期间和好友去了Langkawi 一日游。
3月和Mr Chong 去了曼谷,
12月又和Mr Chong + 他的siblings & cousins再去了曼谷。

虽然就这两个地方，可是旅行好玩的是不是去哪里，而是跟谁去。
这3个旅行，都充满欢笑与意义。

尤其是12月的曼谷之旅，让我的2014年画下美好的句点。

想当年在大学时，看到这个MV也是哭的犀利巴拉的。
看到的是，男女主角坚执的爱情。
说到做到的海誓山盟。
感叹以前人的爱情，为什么可以这样坚定不毁。

然而今天我又重看了这个MV。
感触有点不一样。
这次让我发现了女主角的老公。
他爱她，可是他知道她心里还有那个当年的他，

黄灯-红灯-绿灯

在现任的公司有两年了，

遭遇了很多事情，有起有落。
好的是，得到很多很宝贵的机会，也有机会接触到不同国家的业务，
加上从sales到marketing那浓缩版的学习经验，还有相处到很好的同事们，
让我根本没想过要离开。

可惜好景不常在，
越来越高的target，做不完的powerpoint slides，
justify不到的number，hit不到sales的压力，还有一些人为，
让我一阵日子，真的过得很迷茫。
也让我看到了我在这公司职业途径的那盏黄灯。

开始放慢脚步，好好想想到底这样的环境，适合我吗？
我，还能在这样的环境，发光发热吗？

答案是，不能。

所以在黄灯当儿，我到了job street，似两年前，又开始积极找工。
看到了一间我很喜欢的公司，又看了看，薪水有点底，
可是不管了，click了apply再说吧！

结果，过了5天，那里的HR打来，要叫我去面试。
超级兴奋！

和自己最要好的同事分享了，她也很兴奋的参与我为面试的准备。
一起想象会有什么问题，然后演习较好的答案，
甚至一起讨论当天面试时穿什么衣才会有好形象。

终于，那天到来了。
很紧张，但也很兴奋。

面试过程，自己评估，表现不俗。
问的问题，我也会答。
加上我真的很勇于表现自己真的很喜欢他家公司的产品，这点绝对大加分。
只是担心，要求的工钱，对他们来说有点超于预算。
所以面试后，还是抱着平常心。

两个星期过了，还没接到他们的电话，
就想说，应该是过不了关。

又开始努力的爬job street和接洽head hunter，
哪知，过了两个星期又两天，我终于等到了那通得来不易电话！

天啊！我当时真的是超级无敌大兴奋！
谈话中，一直提醒自己不要表现得太兴奋，
要不然他们可能会压我薪水，
可是怎么压抑的了我心中的那团火呢？
很难，很难。
所以与其压抑，我就全面释放！
告诉HR我真的很想要当这间公司的员工，可惜，薪水还是不是我预期的。
结果我又鼓起勇气游说HR要HR帮帮忙，再加多一点，
考虑下我明年不能享有yearly increment，和牺牲bonus的局面，再帮我push下。
结果，真的是好心有好报。我的这个小小要求，成功！

Oh yeah!!!! 然后一等到HR说完，我就马上立刻说" Yes, I do!!! 明天可以签offer letter吗？签完我马上丢信！”
结果，真的隔一天我就去做体检，然后漂亮的签了offer letter，接着潇洒的丢了那只用5分钟就写好的辞职信。


现在的我已经迫不及待红灯的到来，因为接着红灯的，就是那美丽闪耀的绿灯！

距离我的last day,还有12天！！！！！

What is your personality like?

Got to know Myers-Briggs personality test from Fourfeetnine while reading her Dayre.
Out of curiosity, I went on google and did the test.

According to Wiki, this Myers-Briggs Type Indicator assessment is a psychometric questionnaire designed to measure the psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions.

There are 16 types of combination for the personality from 4 groups of preferences :

Extroversion (E) / Introversion (I)
Do you prefer to focus on the outer world or on your own inner world?

Sensing (S) / Intuition (N)
Do you prefer to focus on the basic information you take in or do you prefer to interpret and add meaning?

Thinking (T) / Feeling (F)
When making decisions, do you prefer to first look at logic and consistency or first look at the people and special circumstances?

Judging (J) / Perceiving (P)
In dealing with the outside world, do you prefer to get things decided or do you prefer to stay open to new information and options?


So, when you decide on your preference in each category, you have your own personality type, which can be expressed as a code with 4 letters.

The result I've got is ENFJ - Extroversion - Intuition - Feeling - Judging.

Based on the table below, for ENFJ type, I am actively sociable, enthusiastic, harmonizer, expressive, warm, idealistic, empathic, possibility-oriented, insightful, cooperative, imaginative, conscientious, appreciative, and tactful.

Bangkok Day 4 & 5

Let's continue with my Bangkok Day 4 and 5 post.

For Day 4, our plan is to explore Union Mall, Central Plaza and also Asiatique.

 The first station is Union Mall. I did a research on the hipster shopping mall that local like to go, and I found out Union Mall at the top of the list.

To go Union Mall, instead of the BTS, we have to use MRT. So, the route is MRT Sukhumvit --> MRT Phahon Yothin. This MRT line also the line that you can go to Chatuchak Market (station Chatuchak Park).

The effect of advertisement made us decide to have our lunch at "The Pizza Company". LOL.

Fatty always been sold to advertisement. Since I've decided all our meals from Day 1-Day 3, I let him to decide for this time.

Service was good, milk tea was too sweet and pizza was just ordinary. :)

After Lunch, we were filled with energy so we started our crazy shopping exercise again.

This was Fatty shopping for his clothes. Too bad his size always ran out of stock. #whyalwayslikethatone

So many shops to break my wallet. 

The quality of the clothes is pretty good but the price is slightly higher compare to Platinum Mall / Siam Square and they don't really appreciate bargain. 

Next to Union Mall is Central Plaza.
Initially Fatty was planning to find his Football Jersey here and so lucky that we've found out there is After You in Central Plaza.
When we was in Siam Paragon, that franchise was undergoing renovation. I thought I've to give a miss for this already, so I was so happy when I saw this in Central Plaza.

 Long Q but I was waiting happily.

HoneyToast + Chocolate Lava Cake
Total damage : around 350baht.

This photo has explained how good the honeytoast was.
No doubt. Well expressed by Fatty.

After our Hi-tea break, we've decided to take a move to Asiatique before the sunset.
We walked to MRT Chatuchak Market, then changed to BTS Mo Chit -- BTS Siam, interchange BTS Saphan Taksin, 
Once reached Saphan Taksin, you will see signboard showing how to walk to pier for Asiatique free boat)

 On board. Very nice view along the journey.
With mild wind, it was a very relax and we really enjoyed it.

 It took around 20-25mins to reach Asiatique.
For us, Asiatique is a very unique place compare to other places we've visited in Bangkok.
Felt so different, hmm, it was like you were not in Bangkok but in Angmo's country.
Very romantic and this was the place I felt so in love.

We had our dinner at Nikuya, a Japanese BBQ buffet restaurant.
Rating for food : 6/10
Rating for environment : 7/10
Total damage : around 1300baht.

After our dinner, we took a short walk and did some shopping.
Then, we took BTS again to go back to hotel.

For day 5 (our last day) in Bangkok, nothing much to do because we slept until 11am and all we did was rushing to get ourselves ready and called a taxi to the airport.
